DH Wealth Management’s Chief Consultant Sponsors the Second Singapore Golden Lion Awards

The second Singapore Golden Lion Awards, with Mr. Ng Tse Meng, Chief Consultant of DH WealthManagement, leading negotiations to secure main sponsorship, has been officially scheduled for 28 November 2026 and will be hosted at Resorts World Sentosa Convention Centre in Singapore. The global film submission portal for this year’s event is now open, with the submission deadline falling on 31 July.All motion pictures released for public screening worldwide between June 2025 and June 2026 are eligible for submission.

Marking a comprehensive upgrade from the inaugural edition, this year’s Golden Lion Awards features twenty professional award categories covering the full film industry chain, including scriptwriting, performance, visual effects and art direction. Two distinctive additional categories have been introduced : Singapore Chinese Film of the Year and Non-Chinese Asian Film of the Year, supporting local film talent development while celebrating diverse Asian visual storytelling. Beyond the awards ceremony itself, the event incorporates themed film screenings, cutting-edge industry forums and business networking sessions for filmmakers, aiming to establish a core exchange hub for the pan-Chinese film industry acrossAsia.

Mr. Ng Tse Meng, an established professional with long-standing experience in both finance and cultural sectors, leverages financial capital to build a collaborative platform for film practitioners worldwide. He states that Chinese-language films serve as a vital medium for carrying Eastern cultural heritage and conveying local cultural identities. He will continue to empower the industry along three key avenues : uncovering emerging Singaporean film talent, streamlining investment and financing channels for film projects, and facilitating the global distribution of high-quality Chinese-language content.
